Shere Khan |
 |
|
If you are walking and see him crouching in the high grass, do not try to intimidate the lurking beast; he is too haughty for fear. He knows of the looming imperialism and is enraged with contempt. Be on your way and allow him to remain the lame-duck-king he knows that he has become. Although impotent to effect the colonization of his kingdom, Shere Khan will hold tight his grip in the waning of an era. His stare immune to the threat, he holds his charismatic gaze.
